I love my daughter to death and I do not regret her at all.
But wow trying to understand a little person whose only vocab is: "waaaah" really is tricky.
So far I managed to decipher four unique Mycah-mae cries:
1. I'm so important give me attention right now you evil women...ya there we go, thats right aka the naughty cry - when nothing seems to be wrong. nappy clean (check) fed (check) warm (check)
2. I'm a child in Rwanda and starving to death...get that magical thing (boob) into my mout..nom nom nom aka the heartbroken cry - this cry literally hurts me inside. its like shes in pain
3. Look at me mommy - no wait - smell me mommy aka the check my bum its not cool sitting in my kak cry
4. So yawn T I R E D yawn cry aka the ha-wah cry we all have heard and know
I just love the sound of my baby's voice - so husky and sweet.
Pity I'm so used to her cry that I don't jump when I hear it anymore, just decode it in my head...
