While changing Mycahs nappy now and looking into her pretty face, I noticed her vest was on inside out and I began to smile, remembering some of the things I learnt after having a baby that I didnt know before
* When your tot is newborn you put on his vest inside out so the label won't scratch his delicate skin
*Castor oil is a gift from God - a little on the bridge of her nose clears a blocked nose
* In the first few weeks, no baby products are put onto their skin (in-case of allergic reactions) so e.g. rather put baby powder onto their clothes so you protect their skin but retain that heavenly baby smell
* Baby's nails grow so quickly and need to be trimmed often (whilst sleeping) to prevent her from hurting her own precious face
*Johnson's Baby soap works better than baby washing powder to clean poo stains (and is cheaper)
*and on that same note - the first two months u wash his clothes by hand with baby soap as mentioned above rather than in the washing machine. after that time u can wash the clothes - separately of course - in the machine after rinsing it beforehand(i did not know this even though its obvious)
last but not least: you just know, intrinsically, as a mom what is right for your child and you know this better than anyone else.
